TransWorldRadio
Carrying the gospel to places a missionary may never be allowed to go.
Trans World Radio is one of the largest Christian media organizations in the world, using high powered medium wave and shortwave transmitters, local FM stations, satellite, the internet, and mobile devices to reach people in some of the most remote and restricted corners of the earth. TWR programs can be heard in 190 countries and more than 200 languages and dialects, often reaching listeners who have no other access to a church, a Bible, or another believer.
TWR began in 1952, when Paul Freed set up the organization to reach Spain by broadcasting from Morocco, and their first transmission went out to Europe from Tangier in 1954. What started as a single shortwave signal has grown into a global network still reaching people today in places where a traditional missionary presence isn't possible.
For as little as fifty dollars, TWR can help place a small, durable radio directly into someone's hands, giving them the ability to listen in secret, in their own language, wherever they are.
Their mission is threefold:
Broadcast the gospel into closed and restricted nations through radio and digital media.
Provide discipleship and biblical teaching in the listener's own language and dialect.
Distribute physical radios to people who have no other way of hearing.
Why We Chose Them: A radio broadcast cannot be stopped at a border. For someone sitting alone with no church nearby, that small voice on the radio might be the only sermon, the only prayer, and the only reminder that they are not forgotten.

The workshop shelves are still filling. Over time, this space will feature handmade goods, cultural treasures, creative kits, and products inspired by people and places around the world. Some items will come from local makers, some from artisans abroad, and some directly from the Epiphany Creations studio.
