Around the Table

Everyone has to eat. It is one of the few things every person on earth has in common, no matter where they live or what they believe. And yet a meal is rarely just about the food. It is where people slow down, tell stories, laugh, grieve, and simply be present with one another. Some of the most honest and intimate moments in life happen around a table.

That is why I wanted to bring this section into The Calling Post. Every dish here comes from a place our missionaries serve, and every recipe is a small window into how people there gather, connect, and share life together. My hope is that as you read these, you feel a little closer to the places and people we are praying for, one meal at a time.
